Locking D-Ring Placement

1" D-Rings and Strap Slides (Item # 1447)

Use this method when you want to lock a D-ring in place. Ring is not easily moved on strap.

1. Feed your strap end through one slot in the slide
2. Feed your strap end through your D-ring and back through the same slot in the slide.
3. Feed your strap end down through the other slit in the slide and then around the object you want to position the D-ring on, in the example drawing we used a thwart.

Adjustable D-Ring Placement

Use this method for placing a D-ring that you would like to be able to move on the strap.

1. Feed your strap end through one slot in the slide.
2. Feed your strap end through your D-ring and back through the slot in the other side.
3. Run your strap around the object you want to position the D-ring on, in the example drawing we used a thwart.
