Why boat/paddle?
I paddle because Walking, Hiking, Scouting, Driving, Communicating, Helping, Traveling, Trusting, Understanding, and Learning are all as much of a part of the sport as running rapids or surfing
Accomplishments:
Jr. World Champ 2007, Running tons of huge falls last year, High school graduate, making it through a huge summer in the Sierra (whheee), Gathering enough support to get my gear for free.
