Why boat/paddle?
Feel the environment, adventure, solitude, quiet, excitement (in the surf), can carry more camping gear in my kayak then my backpack.
Accomplishments:
US Surf Kayaking Team World Championships 1991 & 1993. Have trained over 1,000 trip leaders and produced a very successful Sea Kayaking Educational Video Series.
