    Q:

i have the 16ft expedition was wondering if the bighorn 2 w 88 in bars can fit 2 cooler and dry box. if no is it ok to get longer length bars on that raft? also if i buy ur flip seat mount what size oar mounts would be best (6,8 or 10 in)? and just to make sure, the with on my raft should be 72", right? thank for your help. dont want to have to ship back

      A:

Hi. You have a 88" flat area on the tubes, so the 72"W x 88"L Bighorn II would be a perfect fit. However, you might be tight to put two coolers and a dry box in it. Measure it out, taking into account for the width of the boxes, leg length, etc. The Compact Outfitter Frame might be a better choice, with 88" side rails. I have an E-150, with a 92" flat area. I maxed out the side rails and in the Compact Outfitter Frame I sit on the dry box, using the Flip Seat, can put two full size coolers in front and still not use up all the cockpit area. I would recommend the 10" mounts. Give us a call, 800.635.5202, if we can help further. Boat Safe!
