I purchased this raft as a graduation gift for myself. I am very pleased with its performance. I purchased the raft while living in the southeast and immeadiately got a ton of use out of it on the Chattooga and Ocoee river. Handled the technical rapids of low water Chattooga river very well with 2-7 passengers. Also did great on high water days. Recently moved to Seattle area and have played with it on the Tieton river and low water Salmon (Riggins @ 4,000). It worked perfectly on these runs as well. Thus far it has only been used as a paddle raft, but I will put a frame on it in the spring and see how it handles on multi-day trips with 2-3 people on board. As a paddle raft I would definately reccomend putting a third thwart on it.
Service and delivery comments:
When the raft showed up I thought for sure that I was sent an I.K., but sure enough it was a raft in the tiny box. Delivery was right on time, and good thing as I had a trip planned for it the next day!

Hello, the boat is Symetrical, thus doesn't really matter. I use the
end with the floor valve as the stern so ppl up front aren't stepping
on it and relief valve. Also is direction of logo to have two front
valves foreward.

The 130 is symmetrical, so you can run it either way. However, most people think of the end with the floor valves as being the stern, so with that said, the two perimeter tube valves are in the bow. Since I usually do multiday trips, I run my raft with the floor valves in the front so I can get to them when the back is loaded.Answered on 4/26/2013 by Clyde from NRS
