Comments about NRS Otter 142 Self-Bailing Rafts:

Excellent Raft! plows through holes! lots of room. we have R3ed this with no problem and filled it up with 8 paddlers with same results. My family loves the boat. The batten thwart attachment is great. allows you to change config of boat. paddles well on large and tight rivers. Most of the Rafting companies here in the southeast are using these Otters for commercial use. The guides saw they love them as well. Thanks NRS!!!

Comments about NRS Otter 142 Self-Bailing Rafts:

This raft has better Maneuverability than any other I've rowed, and I've rowed lots. It ferrys very quickly accross the river, whether loaded for overnight trips or day trips, allowing you to set up for rapids better, avoid hazards, and get to the best fishing water

          Q:

What is the difference between the 14-2 otter, and the 14-2 E otter besides several hundred dollars?

            A:

Otters are made with our 1100-denier/41-ounce Pennel Orca (hypalon) material. Expedition boats are made with 1670-denier/48-ounce material. E-boats have more handles and D-rings, four perimeter air chambers (Otters have three), and extra HD40 bottom wear chafer.
