The NRS Otter 150 is the ultimate all-purpose raft. Big enough to serve as a gear hauler, yet small enough to be easily maneuvered by a paddle crew, this boat can truly do it all -- anywhere.
  • NRS Otter Series Rafts provide outfitter-grade performance that the private boater can afford.

  • 20" tubes and 7' width provide the stability, control and maneuverability difficult rivers demand.

  • 94" maximum frame length gives you room to pack everything, including the kitchen sink.

  • Pile in up to 11 paddlers with optional third thwart.

  • Heavy-duty Pennel Orca® material is super abrasion, chemical and UV-resistant for unmatched durability.

  • HD40 floor armor on the bottoms of the tubes guards your boat from the wear and tear of boulders and beaches.

  • 12 stainless steel 2" D-rings give plenty of tiedown points for frame and gear.

  • Four comfortable EasyCarry™ handles make carrying it to the water a breeze.

  • Three main tube air chambers to keep you afloat in the event of an accident.

  • Self-bailing floor with quick-draining holes allows you to leave the bucket at home.

  • Trouble-free Leafield™ C7 Valves ensure easy inflation/deflation of the tubes, thwarts and floor, and the Leafield A6 Pressure Relief Valve protects the floor.

  • The NRS BAT™ (Batten Attachment Thwart system) lets you easily add or remove thwarts to accommodate paddlers or a rowing frame.

  • 5-year retail warranty, 3-year commercial.

Comments about NRS Otter 150 Self Bailing Rafts:

I purchased this raft almost 4 years ago in Alaska. In over 600 miles of use from day trips fishing to week long expeditions in the Arctic this raft has made great family memories with very little wear & tear. It rolls small for easy transport in bush aircraft or car and for winter storage. I almost always use a frame on it and have added d-rings to the stern for additional support for a cargo platform and drybag tiedown. My only complaint is I wish the bottom was more slippery for low water runs. The Pennel Orca (hypalon) will grab every rock within reach of the raft. I'm currently looking at purchasing a 13' Otter for my sons to row separately.

Comments about NRS Otter 150 Self Bailing Rafts:

This is a great boat for medium and large rivers, plenty of cargo space for a 2-week Grand trip. Had it 3 years now, never needs extra air during a trip. Valves work well if you keep the sand out of them. Lighter than the Expedition model, but seems to be plenty tough for recreational use.

      A:

Rob, we don't list weight capacities for our boats. See this article for our reasoning - http://www.nrsweb.com/boating_tips/BoatWeightCapacity.asp - The boat pictured with three people is my E-150. It's done it all, including a 23-day Grand Canyon. Trust me, it will carry what you need.
