AIRE Super Puma Air Floor Raft
$3,480.00
Third thwart sold separately.
The 13'1" Aire Super Puma is a larger version of the Puma, offering more space for friends and gear. A continuous-curve design, short waterline and narrow width make this a highly maneuverable boat.
- A slightly larger design than the Puma, the Super Puma will easily accommodate five paddlers plus a guide.
- The Super Puma also makes a great fishing boat when equipped with an NRS Fishing Raft Frame.
- AIRE raft tubes and floors are equipped with bombproof PVC-coated material that's thicker than other brands for superior durability.
- Internal urethane AIREcells provide an extra measure of strength, durability and safety.
- The piano hinge style of floor lacing, found in all AIRE rafts, provides quick self-bailing and a plethora of options for getting just the right placement of the thwarts.
- A narrow width, along with high rocker angles at the bow and stern, make this boat super manueverable and fun to run in whitewater.

AIRE Super Puma Air Floor Raft Q: I am comparing this boat to the Otter 130 and one major difference is the bow/tow kick 14" vs. the Otter that lists at 28". This is predominately going to be a fishing vessel but there will be class II and III water in it's future as well. Can you share your thoughts on bow/tow kick? Asked on 5/14/2013 by E M from MSO Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Here you run into a difference in how NRS and AIRE measure "kick." We measure to the top of the end panel; AIRE measures to the bottom. So, comparing apples-to-apples, with the Super Puma end panel at 15" in diameter (it's a diminishing tube design), its "NRS measured" kick is 29". So, there's no difference in kick with the two boats and you're back to looking at the other design differences. Either will be great for your Class II/III waters. Give us a call, 800.635.5202, if we can help you narrow down your choice! Answered on 5/15/2013 by Clyde from NRS
AIRE Super Puma Air Floor Raft Q: what length oars would you reccommend? Asked on 3/24/2013 by sd Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Oar length is somewhat a matter of personal preference, but a 7.5' oar length would be good with this boat. Answered on 3/25/2013 by Clyde from NRS
AIRE Super Puma Air Floor Raft Q: would this boat be good for 4 paddlers and a guide Asked on 1/18/2013 by tony Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: It would work great for those five paddlers. Fun ride. Answered on 1/18/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: Absolutely. We use ours with 4-6 paddlers. I will sometimes run it with a total of 4 with the 4th paddler as the guide. Or I use it as you described with a total of 5. We have also used it with 6 adult paddlers with 6th man as guide and it's fine for a day trip that way. I have run mine multiple times at medium and low water on Westwater on the Colorado River.
