The best frame for the Wildcat is our Sport Cat Frame - http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=1275&pdeptid=1053 - What makes the frame custom is the stock length is 88" and the Wildcat has an 84" tube top flat area. AIRE's weight ratings are merely an index for comparing one boat with another. They're taken for a certain immersion depth of the tubes, maybe 2"? So it's just the displacement volume flotation and not an accurate measurement for top load capacity. But of course, the more weight you put on, the deeper it'll sink and the more tube you're pushing through the water.Answered on 12/6/2012 by Clyde from NRS
