Our Breakdown Side Rails use a solid piece of aluminum in a slip joint for superior strength. Breakdown Side Rails are easier to transport and store. The cut on each rail is in the middle.

If you choose "Factory" from the drop down list - please also add the item #1200 R - the size and amount of rails you need. This is the option to have the side rails on your order cut, and breakdown kit installed, at the length you specify for the cut. When ordering the "Factory" option to have your side rails custom cut, please specify in the comments section (on the payment section of the online order form) where along the side rail you would like the "break" (it does not have to be in the middle).
