Works well holds dry box firmly. Easy to slide box in to place after straps are adjusted. If no box is in the cradle, it can pop off frame. Rides little low.

Works better for dry boxes than using the cooler mounts. The 90 degree square corners on the mount fit the rectagular dry boxes exactly so there is not a rocking like when using a cooler mount with rounded corners.

A:
The curved portion of the aluminum brackets match the outer diameter of the typical NRS frame tubes, which I believe are 2". I've also seen the aluminum dry box altered with welding L shaped aluminum brackets on the ends of the side of the drybox, so that the box rests on top of the tubes and then you don't need the strap brackets to hold the drybox off the floor of the boat.

Our frame pipe has a 1-5/8" diameter and the curved aluminum piece fits snugly on our pipe. Our Adjustable Dry Box Mounts, Item # 12052, use cam straps on both aluminum pieces so pipe diameter is not a factor.Answered on 3/21/2013 by Clyde from NRS
