NRS Unbendable Pipe 1-5/8" Anodized Q: or lenght do i order 6 for quantity ?that will be a 6ft piece ? Asked on 4/5/2013 by tom Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Tom, the pipe is $4.00 per foot, so a 6' length will be $24.00. Answered on 4/5/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: You specify the total length needed and in the order notes you can call out specifically how you want it cut into smaller lengths Lou Answered on 4/5/2013 by Anonymous
NRS Unbendable Pipe 1-5/8" Anodized Q: Can I order several lengths at 5' each? and a few at 7'? Asked on 3/9/2013 by 3pawpup from parachute, CO Know the answer? Answer this question 10 answers A: They cut it any length for me in 2012. Answered on 3/10/2013 by Anonymous A: Yes, best to call them. The guys in the frame shop are accommodating. This is an easy order - if I remember, they charge by the foot. john vrymoed Answered on 3/10/2013 by Anonymous A: You bet! I ordered a length of pipe and 2 LoPro fittings and added a spot to my Bighorn 2 frame to carry another dry box. I cut the pipe to the length I needed with a plumbers pipe cutter available for purchase at any hardware store. You could easily custom build an entire frame this way. Answered on 3/10/2013 by Anonymous A: I've ordered custom lengths pretty close to these lengths in the past with no problems. In order to put together a raft frame using these custom lengths, I needed to drill the holes for the clamps to fit on the pipe, but as long as I was careful, that worked out fine. Tom Cochran Answered on 3/10/2013 by Anonymous A: Yes, you can order any length and lengths under 108" can be shipped UPS. Answered on 3/10/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: Yes they will do 1' increments. Call them, NRS has great customer service. Sent from my iPhone Answered on 3/10/2013 by 90Duck from Bend A: Yes. You can order any sizes you would like. Thank you, Raphael Fasi Gone Fishing Colorado Answered on 3/10/2013 by Anonymous A: I believe that when I ordered this material, that it came in whole lengths and I had to trim to fit. 4' - 6' - 8' etc.., but I believe that was for pricing. They may be able to cut your length and charge you by the foot. Sorry, it was a bit ago, and that may have changed. Good luck with your project! Sent from my iPhone Answered on 3/10/2013 by Anonymous A: NRS will cut these to whatever lengths you want in whatever quantity you want. There may be some limit on the longest size possible, but 7' is well within their limits. Answered on 3/10/2013 by Standup Rafter from Bellingham, WA A: Totally. I have before. Built a frame last year, building a cat frame this year. Sent from my iPhone Answered on 3/11/2013 by Anonymous
NRS Unbendable Pipe 1-5/8" Anodized Q: How long are these? I know i order by the foot but how long can you ship? Asked on 3/6/2013 by dave from michigan Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: Hi Dave, Your question was forwarded to me (a fellow customer that has purchased them before). NRS probably should have fielded this question since it is a technical question, not a review. I don't what their maximum ship length is, but I have ordered them up 8 feet long. In general, the upper limit for shipping things is quite long (e.g., I have ordered touring kayaks that were shipped). They start adding an oversize shipping cost at 4', but they can probably accommodate whatever length you need for a conventional raft. Again, NRS should probably have fielded this question instead of forwarding it to a customer, but hopefully that helps. Tim Answered on 3/6/2013 by Anonymous A: I think Nrs probably gets the stuff in 20' lengths. 108" is the OS2 oversized FedEx limit. Not sure about ups, which is what nrs uses. For OS2, they charge for a 50lb equiv weight. As a comparison i just shipped some oars just under 108". It was $25 for three oars in a box.. If over 108 it would have been close to $100 So in theory if you were shipping you would go to the shipper and figure out the most economical length and bundle your pipe in that manner. Or find a dealer who gets their gear freighted from Nrs and ask if they can add your pipe frame lengths to their next order. Lou Answered on 3/6/2013 by Anonymous A: Dave, the pipe comes to us in 18.75' lengths. Anything over 107" has to be shipped motor freight. Answered on 3/6/2013 by Clyde from NRS
