We did a five day Lower Salmon trip in hoe weather with almost now melting of the five blocks of ice in the cooler filled with food and beer.

This has been a good solid cooler for rafting. It is taller than most coolers of this size so double check your height requirements if it needs to fit in your boat. I use it as a rowing seat with a Paco pad on top and it works very well.
The latches are lame and one broke after a year or so but as I always strap the top down on the river it is not really a problem. I have to get creative about securing the lid if it is traveling in the trailer at 60 MPH!
