I have been a professional fishing guide for 14 years in East Tennessee and North Carolina. The shoal cut offers a better acceleration in low water which I frequent. I have been using the boat brand oars for the past 14 years and ordered these with some scrutiny of the performance based on price. Blown away....I don't know why every drift boat manufacturer does not include these as part of their package because the completely enhance boat's performance by 60%.
