I've had several of these. Now setting up a second raft, with shorter oars. These have a simple, perhaps clunky-looking appearance. But they seem tough, except for an occasional scratch from rocks. I have yet to break one in any way. The fit is tight and secure once installed, but the lock button seems to hang up some times.

Work fine, as long as you don't hit any rocks. Unfortunately rivers contain rocks. Pretty soon you have a still-functional but very funny looking blade that looks like it was bitten by a small shark or two.
