Sharpen your oar setup with the Cataract Razor Oar Blade. This sleek new design sports enough sweet features to make a fisherman sob with glee.
  • The Razor is the perfect blade for drift boaters seeking a sleeker, lighter set of blades with excellent handling and clean entry into the water.

  • A strengthened urethane core reinforces the complete integrity of the blade.

  • The Razor floats, so when you drop the oars in the water the blade stays up above most of the rocks.

  • Dynel edging molded into the blade edges resists abrasion wear and tear.

  • With all of the great details, the Razor still only weighs just over 2.5 lbs., 20% lighter than Cataract's other oar blades.
  • Dimensions: 7" x 27"
  • Weight: 2.65 lbs.
  • Carbon fiber skin
  • Molded urethane core
  • Dynel edging

Comments about Cataract Carbon Razor Oar Blade - 6":

I needed oars that would break down for storage on a sailboat and these do the trick. The blades fit tightly into the shafts but are still easy to assemble and take apart. Stronger than needed for my aplication but still quite light. A good, but expensive solution.

No, you didn't miss it. We missed putting the fact that it floats in the text. Thanks for the catch.

                        Q:

Does the Razor blade float? If yes, does the Razor blade float equally as well as the Magnum blade? Thanks!

                          A:

Razor with oar floats. I don't have to use weights with the Razor. Magnum
are heavier. Use of weights to counter balance results in an oar that
                          sinks.

Yes it floats very well. I doint know how well the Magnum Floats but the
                          Razor is very buoyant.
