          I am a whitewater river guide and I use this product just about everyday during the season. With it constantly getting wet and getting grit in the gate, its still in great condition and the gate still opens smoothly. I bought three of this product at the same time and for two years now there still in top working condition. A lot of the river guides I work with use this product as well and I yet so see one malfunction. Great product!
