I used these locking carabiners as part of my z-drag rescue kit. One attaches to the Prussic knot that carries the weight of the drag and the other connects the second Prussic to the anchor strap. Add these, a few long anchor straps, a couple pulleys and a 150' static line and you're good to go.

I use this as part of a z-drag system and as part of a decent device. Its worked well however the lock has gathered sand on some rivers. it cleans out quick but is still a VERY minor con.
