Comments about NRS 1" Color Coded Strap:

These straps are typical NRS - excellent product, good value. I just wish NRS would offer rubber buckle protectors. The heavy duty buckle could break your car window if you have to toss it over the roof.

Four straps hold my NRS frame with no movement. Teeth on straps prevent any loosening of strap. No 'racheting' needed. Tear down is quick and simple.

got these to tie rescue gear to patroller backpacks. these look like same buckles as the blue straps. webbing is slightly different but just as good. we'll see how those buckles work in snow and icy conditions

                    what does the 10' means

                      Johnny--
The 10' means that the strap is 10-feet long. 2' means the strap is 2-feet long, and so on for 4', 6' 8' and 12'.
Just pick that strap in the length you need. Note that each length comes in its own unique color.
The 1" in "1" Color Coded Strap" means that the strap is 1-inch wide.
                      Hope this helps.

The color coded straps are nice because each length is a different color
and makes it much easier to find the length you're looking for in a bag
full of straps. 10' is the length, 10 feet.

Johnny, the yellow strap is 10' (120") long. Our HD straps have the length measurement woven into the strap webbing. These color coded straps are quickly identified for length by the color.

The number on the strap refers to its length! J So, a 4' = a four foot
                      strap, a 10' = a ten foot strap, a 1' = a one foot strap, etc.
Smaller straps are best for tying down frames, while longer straps are great
for rigging and larger pieces of gear. I usually carry less than 8 smaller
straps, while I have a host of longer ones, mainly 6' and 9'. For other
applications like hanging nets, etc.it's best to use tubular webbing (or
"hoopey"). Using hoopey on longer applications allows you to also rig to
the hoopey line, and practice all your boating knots!
                      I hope this helped J
                      Kindness,
                      Karen Sue

                      A:

We can do that with the name or text woven into the 1" blue strap webbing, just like the NRS logo and length numbers you see on the HD Straps. However, it requires ordering 10,000 feet of the webbing. You can order just the webbing and make your own straps, or we can make straps in any lengths you want. Call 800.635.5202 for pricing if you are interested.
