I was looking for a well made, heavy duty strap to secure my canoe to the top of my car. I'm the type that likes to over do it when it comes to safety. These straps meet my requirement for quality and strength which I'm confident will provide me with the safety I demand. I would recommend them to everyone.

What can you say, it is a strap. Got the wider strap for use on poly boats in a j rack during summer heat to help not distort plastic. Wider strap does offer a little more friction so boats dont need to be snugged up as much.

I use the straps to hold kayaks, canoes, hang gliders, and even appliance or other heavy items. Used on roof racks, trailers, pickups and other places. Absolutely the BEST strap I have ever used. Although the strap outlasts the harshest weather, abuse and loads that I can put it through, it would even more kudos if it came new, impregnated with extra amounts of waterproofing or weather-check preservative that was eco friendly. The pad under the buckle could be a little larger. Other than that, the NRS straps I have used
