I bought these and the nrs strap, best deal on the web for the specs. I looked long and hard on the web to find better and couldnt. So I bought the webbing and made my own straps.

This is a boring little item that most of us pay little attention too until you run across some of lesser quality which is what happened with the purchase of a new boat. It used two of these to adjust the seat and were pathetic. They were replaced with the NRS version and I'm now a happy paddler.

Hello your description does not state the normal working limits of this buckle. Could you please tell me what the Working Load Limit is for this, and what the breaking Strength is in lbs.

I don't know if the manf can establish the working load and ultimate load for the buckle alone since it is part of a system.
The limit state would be the strap rather than the buckle.
I just bought some straps for work. Those straps had a factor of safety between 3 and 4 between the working load and the ultimate load.
If your loads are less than 1500 lbs or so, the buckle will be fine. That load is limited by the width of the strap.
