I transport my tandem kayak on a small trailer with tie-down attachment points under the boat near the ground. Most tie-down straps have a very short strap on their buckle side. That's convenient for car-topping, but for my rig it puts the buckle in a hard-to-reach position under my trailer. The long strap on the buckle side of this NRS model puts the buckle on top of the kayak where it's easy to reach and adjust.

Great for big boat to trailer securing and for stacking boats- and fast! The only thing that could be better is to create a 1 1/2" strap version!

I use this two ways, I use it as a tie down kit for my canoe, and also use it as an additional method to secure my canoe to the ceiling once I'm done using it!

Great for mounting kayaks on top of cars, especially if you don't have a roof rack. I use this product to help mount my kayak on my Honda Accord, which doesn't have a roof rack. This product was much better than a prior one in which the hooks you had to slip on the tie-down strap and it didn't grip as strong and as sustained as this strap. Well worth the money!
