I use the fill adaptor to fill my WaterMaster Kodiak raft. Works great! Much improved over the cheesy sleeves that come with the Wonder Pump.

Comments about New Short H-R Fill Adapter:
I use this product to build an extension hose off my hand pump using vinyl reinforced tubing. These adaptors make life much easier especially if you lose or break one. These are not the "exact" fit for cheaper H-R Valve knock-offs (China/Korea) brands. This adaptor is a bit longer than the cheaper knock-off types which does not fully depress the valve stem for one-way filling; Air will not enter chamber unless additional o-rings are added or shaving H-R adaptor to a shorter length.

HK valves have a long shaft with a diaphragm at the bottom. The original bayonet adapter will push the diaphragm and let air in easily. The HK adapter is short and the air pressure from the pump must push the diaphragm open making pumping more difficult. Because diaphragm is not held open I don't believe you can use it to pump air out of the inflatable.

Hi, unless the valve matches the characteristics shown on this page - http://www.nrsweb.com/repair/hrvalves.asp - it's not a Halkey-Roberts New Short. Please check with the boat's manufacturer to determine what kind of valve you have. Looks like that will be the fitting for your Rampage. I am only going on
pictures, but it looks like the standard inflatable short valve on your
Rampage. I have a small Mercury inflatable that had a one-off ex-short
valve.
