No more pumping with one hand and holding the hose with the other! A quick twist seals the Leafield C-7 Valve Adapter to your boat's Leafield C-7 Valve for easy solo inflation with zero leakage.
  • This adapter is especially helpful with high-pressure drop-stitch inflatables such as the NRS Big Earl SUP Board, the NRS Whip Body Board and the NRS GigBob Personal Fishing Cataraft.

  • The threaded male end screws into your Leafield C-7 Valve, sealing the O-ring for an airtight, secure connection.

  • Includes a 2" vinyl hose which allows you to connect the adapter to almost any pump.

  • Sturdy plastic construction withstands use and abuse.
  • Material:  Sturdy plastic construction
  • Fit: Leafield C-7 fill valves
  • O-ring seal
  • 5/8" (outside diameter) hose connection

Comments about C7 Leafield Valve Adapter:

I prefer this adapter to the friction adapters. It uses the threads already present for the C7 lid to attach and it stays there until you undo it.

The missing link to a firm connect between your pump & boat valve. Well worth the small cost for hassle free inflating.

This valve adapter makes inflation with the C7 valve so much easier, especially at the higher pressures! It makes inflation almost hands free. You should recommend it with any inflatable purchase.

This adapter keeps you from having to press your K-Pump into the valve while you are pumping. You can use the K-Pump fitting with this adapter. Add some zip ties and a stainless hose clamp to insure that no parts get lost on the river.

Purchased this for use on a nrs bodyboard and a k20 hand pump. Found out the k20 fits directly into the bodyboard making this option useless for this application. It looks like it would work well on a large raft with a different style bellow pump.

If you go online just look for the Leafeild C7 adaptor.  I believe it's about $6 dollars, I also purchased a 12vdc car plug pump that works great for adding pressure after towing to boat launch.

Adapter is 1" outside by 5/8" inside. and we have 5/8" inside and 1"
outside hose. Have Leafield C-7 valves. The adapter worked fine. Hope

Jerry, the section of vinyl hose that we have on the adapter is 5/8" ID so I think this will work for you. Have you seen this video on converting from military valves? - http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/Video_Library.asp?vid=380&group=20&loadvid=1

It just unscrews, there is a star shaped tool that matches the shape of the valve that you use as a wrench to turn it. I guess you could use a large pair of pliers or channel locks as well. There are repair kits and replacement valves available through NRS. If the valve body has an O ring seal on it, I usually coat it with plumbers grease (available at any hardware store) before putting the new valve in.

Use the C7 Valve Wrench, Item 1482.1, to remove the outer portion of the valve. All the working portions are in this piece. All you may need to do is clean it. For further help, give us a call, 800.635.5202.
