Just what the doctor ordered when you take a bump and crack one! Its a little messy and helps if you have 3 hands, other than that its a simple repair. Be sure to carry the tube of silicone too.

I'm sure it will work great - we are using it as a back-up. One of our nose cones was very mildly cracked, but I discovered that the on-the-river repair job has made it nearly impossible to remove. So I used ski P-Tex to fill the crack - worked great, just have to be careful of the flame you're using to melt the P-tex!
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I have a hard time rating ANYTHING perfect. :)

There heavy duty, but not bomber, I crack one about every two years. It is what it is. I always have a backup.
