Carlisle Standard Paddle$29.95
The industry standard! This 1-1/8" aluminum shaft extends well into the blade for added strength and is covered with polyethylene to provide a warm, secure grip. The 8" x 20" molded blade uses super-strong polypropylene for a powerful yet lightweight paddle.

Best Uses Comments about Carlisle Standard Paddle: The good old standard, not bad but for the price difference I will stick with the upgraded version (Guide?) for a few buck more as it has a much stiffer blade that appears much more durable. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Carlisle Standard Paddle: Still the best price point paddle for the money. I just bought an Aire Super Duper Puma and used these paddles for the maiden voyages down the Green and Colorado rivers. All abord were happy and liked them better than some other, more expensive paddles I brought along.

Comments about Carlisle Standard Paddle: Basic, competent, reliable, good price. I take friends and youth groups out that aren't rafting fanatics, YET. Everyone has the same decent, simply gear, like this paddle, which means there's no dinking around with unnecessary variation. It's easy to instruct to and helps me keep everyone focused on what matters, which is basic technique, the river and the fun we are having. And if we lose one? At this price, so what? Nobody gets yelled at.
