The instructions on how to put this on my boat (17' kayak) were simple and the cover was easy to put on. The cover does not completely protect the boat without additional ties to utilize the extra loops provided on the cover. This is necessary during travel or the cover will flap in the wind (i used bungies). The cover is good quality but does lack some features. It's tough to move your covered boat or put on your car by yourself because your boat handles are covered. There are no handles or good places to grip on the cover. Also, your typical tie-down spots (on your boat) are obstructed by the cover which will mean some boat exposure will occur during transport. This is NOT leak proof (due to inability to fully enclose boat), though the material is of good quality and will protect from sun/bug/etc damage. I really like that the bag that holds the cover doubles as a red flag during transport. I'd recommend to a friend only because I haven't found anything better on the market (currently).

This is the second one of these covers that I have bought and I bought this one when NRS offered it on sale (something that is rarely done). This cover does what it is supposed to do - it protects. During the summer, I have one of my kayaks out on the rear deck covered. This cover protects the kayak against rain, sun, and falling debris. It is easy to put on and off. It is very, very well made. After extensive usage outside, no wear shows on the cover. The only weakness is that I can never seem to pack it up as tightly as it was when it arrives to me (if you can repack it correctly, then you can put in its attached storage bag). Small cost for a very useful product. A small cost for a very useful product.
