Very good quality, better than I anticipated. Is actually slightly longer than my 16' 6" canoe and easily adjustable with the provided straps, also has extra loops for attaching bungee cords if desired. Storage bag does not detach from cover nor can it be closed when the cover is in use, therefore, would not use this in transit because of the additional drag caused by the bag. This is a consideration for me because I have to drive several hours to get to decent canoeing areas.

      The Ranger cover is sized larger to cover a canoe. The Buddy cover is for sleeker touring kayaks. They both made with the same material.
