It's wax. Really not a whole lot to say about it. I wouldn't recommend using it on paddle blades.

Use this for better grip on my paddle. Works well, but it seems to melt very fast. Bring a surf board wax, I did not expect this to be an issue.

I use this when whitewater kayaking in cold water to prevent my gloved hands from slipping. It works as well or better than any paddle wax and I do love the name. It would be nice if it came in a resalable container or bag.
