The leash is a small price to pay to protect a large investment we make in our paddles. The only thing we would improve is to make the paddle leash a little longer as it is a little tight for one of our kayaks. Comments about NRS Paddle Leash Coil: I didn't use a paddle leash for a long time, until a wave knocked me over and I lost my paddle and had to get towed to shore. After that I knew I needed one just in case. On the first day I just went for an easy ride at the lake, but I tested it by throwing my paddle in the air and doing a few rolls while purposly letting go of my paddle. It works great, easy to attach, recoils perfect and it looks cool. Its been dragged on rocks/pavement and I've managed to tangle it a few times and it still holds its original structure. I can tell its gonna last hella long!

Comments about NRS Paddle Leash Coil: Easy to use and attach to wrist or boat. I like the red pouch to keep track of the components as I misplaced part of my first paddle leash.

Comments about NRS Paddle Leash Coil: I like to use a leash for solo paddling and occasions when I do not carry a spare paddle. As long as you are aware of possible entanglement issues and how to respond to them, I see no problem using this helpful device.

Comments about NRS Paddle Leash Coil: Excellent product! I don't even notice it being there, but would definitely wished I'd had it if I were to get separated from my paddle. The coiled leash doesn't get in the way at all !!!
