I'm not sure what else you'd need out of a paddle leash. I don't like the coiled versions, and this one is long enough not to tug but not so long that it's dangerous. The band fits tightly around the shaft and doesn't budge: that's really important to me. Stays out of your way nicely.

Broke on the first flip in a class 2 drop. Long leash, almost too long. There are other products on the market that are bulkier, but won't shred. I can use the remnants to make a better one, though.

I put in 50 training miles with this paddle leash. I took me a while to get used to not having complete mobility of the paddle when entering/exiting the kayak, but that period passed quickly. I used the leash on the 2012 Missouri River 340 endurance race where due to fatigue and exhaustion I did not care how I treated it. Despite this rough handling, 340 miles later it still looks and performs like new. This product performs as stated and arrived in a timely manner. Thumbs up.
