Comments about AIRE Super Lynx Kayak: If you can only choose one boat to do a lot of things, it is a great choice! We have used it for self-supported flat river trips (10 day). For gear trips it is best for only one person + gear as we found we could not fit two of us and all the gear (we are both over 6 feet tall). For day trips it is great for two and I have taken it out on the bay solo and I did not find the tracking with the skeg to be too bad but it is certainly no hard shell. It is a compromise and it behaves exactly that way, but again, if you can only get one for many uses it rocks! The only issue we have had was under high winds and currents one side of the hull kept trying to suck under so we rafted with another boat. This might be common in inflatable IKs but I don't know as we only have full size rafts and hard shells to compare with.

Comments about AIRE Super Lynx Kayak: This is a great boat. Super stable and cruses through ocean swells with no problem. It doesn't cut through the water like a hard shell, but you can't beat the storage. This boat takes a lot of abuse from sticks, stumps, rocks, and it haven't had a problem. The skeg isn't the greatest, I don't think it helped much and it fell off somewhere. The wind hits this boat like a sail, but still overall a great kayak.
