Comments about Tributary Sawtooth Inflatable Kayak:

This is our third Aire/Tributary boat (143R, Tomcat Tandem IK are the others), and we are very pleased with it's capabilities. We use the boat for both solo and tandem flat water touring simply by adding a second cheeta chair to the numerous interior attachment points. We can easily outdistance other inflatables on flat water and can keep pace with hard shells. The boat tracks very well, especially when the skeg is attahed (see below). At the end of the trip, it easily deflates and rolls into a duffel bag.

One note of caution: While Aire's new skeg attachment is convenient to use, it will allow the skeg to fall out if you hit something submerged just right while paddling. We had this happen in Sparks Lake near Bend, and did not realize it was missing until we got back to the boat ramp. Luckily, we were able to retreive it in the very clear water due to another boater who had spotted it under water, otherwise it would have been a costly replacement.

Overall a very nice boat, and a great addition to our fleet of inflatables.
