The NRS Wild River Tube is constructed out of tough durable materials. It is quick and easy to inflate. I use an old air mattress pump that plugs into the car lighter. In one minute it's ready to go down river. The tube is large enough for a full size adult with space for a life jacket and dry bag. The mesh bottom makes for a comfortable ride. I added an 18" circle cut from a foam camping pad to the seat. This gives a little more cushion for rocks and increases flotation. Lots of fun with very little hastle. The cleanup is easy too. just spray off with the water hose and hang it up to dry.I expect to be using these tubes for years to come.

Funny that you ask, we are going to use these this weekend on the French Broad River near Asheville, NC. It has what I think is called a Boston valve to fill with and a screw fitting below that you screw the whole valve out to easily deflate. The air valve is one way and you use any camping air mattress pump like is sold in the camping section of the outdoor stores. Super easy to inflate and deflate. Has two separate air chambers so if you get a leak in one, you still have one more that keeps you afloat. We've had these for years and they are still in great shape. Very wide, super stable through small to medium rapids.Answered on 6/12/2013 by Anonymous
