NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: Is this boat not set up with thigh strap attachments? I see it only has 2 D rings. Asked on 6/18/2013 by Ed Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Our thigh straps, Item # 16051, can be anchored through the floor drain holes, or you can add PVC D-ring patches if you prefer. NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: Any comments on which boat self-bails best (i.e. is the driest) between this, the Maverik, and the RIKEN? I'm looking for my first IK, mostly for day trips but might like to try 1-2 night overnighters with a bit of gear. Asked on 6/14/2013 by Jer from Calgary, AB Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Jer, the MaverIK and Seminole will bail best, because they have thicker floors. The MaverIK, with its more curved profile will maneuver more quickly, whereas the Seminole's flatter profile will track a bit better on flatwater. You can certainly carry backpacker-light overnight loads in a one-man IK. For more gear-carrying capacity, consider a two-man boat. Give us a call, 800.635.5202, for more help in making your choice. NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: I have an NRS Bandit and a Hyside Padillac. The design of the inflatable floor on these models makes them more vulnerable to cross currents. I read a review on a new Outlaw, they described the floor as 'an improved design' since it was flat across the bottom. A picture sure would help this buyer understand the difference. Please post one! Asked on 6/9/2013 by WilliamP from Arizona Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: There are pics on the NRS website of the bottom of the new Outlaw. Check um out! Leon Pfeiffer Answered on 6/10/2013 by Anonymous A: William, take a look at the Larger Images & More Views link for views of the bottom of the Outlaw. Answered on 6/9/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: Can a K-Pump K100 get the floor to full pressure? What else do you recommend in compact pumps for this IK? Asked on 6/2/2013 by ShaunOtter from Eureka, CA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The K100 can pump the Bandit or Outlaw to full pressure no problem. Answered on 6/3/2013 by Dave from Edmonds WA A: The K-100 will work, however the K-220, Item # 1717, is a double-stage pump that will be easier to pump the high pressure the floor requires, while the high volume stage works just as well as the K-100 to pump up the side tubes. Answered on 6/2/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: Witch leafield valve is used in the conduction of this boat? Asked on 5/17/2013 by Annie from WA. Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: I was incorrect they are C7 leafield valves not much difference the C7 valves are a low profile cap as the B7 is a raft valve the function is the same and the valve opening are the same. Answered on 5/20/2013 by Anonymous A: Oh, and the Leafield A6 Pressure Relief Valve in the floor. Answered on 5/17/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: Annie, we use the Leafield C7 in all of our boats. We think it's the best one on the market. Answered on 5/17/2013 by Clyde from NRS

NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: Am I safe to assume that a 200# person sitting in it on flat water without any gear would NOT be sitting in water?? Asked on 5/5/2013 by ET Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Inflate the drop stitch floor to 8-10 psi to minimize water coming up above the floor. Answered on 5/6/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: Can you stand up in it? Asked on 4/24/2013 by Fish from B.c. Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: you could but it is difficult. I weigh 230 and I can surf it. but its pretty hard. Answered on 4/30/2013 by Anonymous A: No, you would not like standing up in this Inflatable kayak. Not a good fishing platform. Answered on 4/24/2013 by Dave from Edmonds WA A: The flat, rigid drop-stitch floor is plenty stiff for standing but the relatively narrow width and short waterline wouldn't make for very stable standing. Answered on 4/24/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak Q: Are there drain holes all along each side? Specifically at each end and not just in the middle? A Picture would be great. And I noticed you had predicted you would have stock a couple of weeks ago, any updated info? Asked on 4/15/2013 by ET Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Click on the Larger Images & More Views link, at the lower-right of the product photo, for a photo of the bottom of the boat. We received stock and they flew out the door. We currently have the orange color and will receive more of both in about 10 days. Answered on 4/16/2013 by Clyde from NRS
