Like the NRS Bandit IK before it, the Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak comes to steal your heart. Its rigid floor and extra width create a craft that's stable enough for beginners while making adrenaline junkies smile. All at a price that won't break the bank.
  • PVC-coated polyester material repels abrasion and slides over rocks with ease.

  • The PVC-coated drop-stitch floor insert inflates rock hard for superior wave-punching performance.

  • The drop-stitch floor insert is removable for easy cleaning and repair.

  • The tubes and thwart seat inflated to 2.5 psi, combined with the floor insert with its rigid 8-10 psi air pressure, create an exceptionally high-performance kayak.

  • 37.5" width gives you extra stability when the water gets rough.

  • An 18" rocker height helps the Outlaw climb over waves, while 10.5" tubes and a 4" self-bailing floor provide plenty of flotation.

  • The inflatable thwart seat secures to drain holes in the floor, allowing you to place it just where you need it.

  • Two stainless steel D-rings let you secure water bottles and other gear.

  • Bow and stern handles make the Outlaw easy to carry while also providing extra tie-down points for gear.

      A:

No, you would not like standing up in this Inflatable kayak. Not a good
      fishing platform.

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

The flat, rigid drop-stitch floor is plenty stiff for standing but the relatively narrow width and short waterline wouldn't make for very stable standing.

    Q:

Are there drain holes all along each side? Specifically at each end and not just in the middle? A Picture would be great.
And I noticed you had predicted you would have stock a couple of weeks ago, any updated info?

Click on the Larger Images & More Views link, at the lower-right of the product photo, for a photo of the bottom of the boat. We received stock and they flew out the door. We currently have the orange color and will receive more of both in about 10 days.

  • NRS Outlaw I Inflatable Kayak

    Q:

Hi! So I can see from materials/weight/warranty the Outlaw isn't as durable as the Maverik. Dimensions seem about the same, though...how will they differ in terms of how they paddle in whitewater? Does the new floor design in the Outlaw make it more rigid than the Maverik? Thanks! Les
Asked on 4/15/2013 by Les from Oregon

      A:

Les, several of us took the Outlaws out on the Salmon River just this past week, in Class III water. They performed great. The MaverIKs are plenty rigid for any whitewater usage, but I'd say that the drop-stitch floor insert gives the Outlaws a bit of a lead over the Mavs in the rigidity dept.

    Q:

Are there foot pegs or place for foot pegs in the Outlaw?
Asked on 4/14/2013 by sam from salida colorado

    2 answers

    • VERIFIED BUYER

      A:

No foot pegs so to speak in the Outlaw or it's predecessor the Bandit. You
can get foot or knee straps that attach to the tube and drain hole as the
      backrest does.

Answered on 4/16/2013 by Dave from Edmonds WA
    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Sam, the Outlaw doesn't come with foot pegs. They're easy to install, use the blue model of Item # 1638, using either Clifton Urethane Adhesive or Stabond Adhesive.
