Newbies and seasoned IK paddlers alike will love the NRS Outlaw II Inflatable Kayak. Combining rigid, wave-punching performance with a stable, beginner-friendly ride, this tandem boat lets two paddlers team up, or one paddler can load it with gear for overnight adventures.
  • PVC-coated polyester material repels abrasion and slides over rocks with ease.

  • The PVC-coated drop-stitch floor insert inflates rock hard for superior wave-punching performance.

  • The drop-stitch floor insert is removable for easy cleaning and repair.

  • The tubes and thwart seat inflated to 2.5 psi, combined with the floor insert with its rigid 8-10 psi air pressure, create an exceptionally high-performance kayak.

  • 39" width gives you extra stability when the water gets rough.

  • A 16" rocker height helps the Outlaw II climb over waves, while 10.5" tubes and a 4" self-bailing floor provide plenty of flotation.

  • Two inflatable thwart seats secure to drain holes in the floor, allowing you to place them just where you need them.

  • Four stainless steel D-rings allow you to secure water bottles and other gear.

  • Bow and stern handles make the Outlaw II easy to carry while also providing extra tie-down points for gear.

  • Top-quality Leafield™ C7 valves ensure trouble free inflation and deflation.

    Q:

Can this boat be paddled by two boaters with canoe/raft paddles?

      A:

Yes, you could. You would want to have short paddles since you are sitting lower than you would in most canoes.

The thwart seat is your backrest. You could adapt the AIRE Cheetah Seat, Item # 1609.5, to it.

  • NRS Outlaw II Inflatable Kayak

    Q:

    Hello!
Do you have a rudder system to use with these kayaks for flatwater paddling? If not, do you have a suggestions of how to install one? We use them for paddling around a flatwater lake and would like them to track better and be more stable in the wind...
    Thanks!

Asked on 2/26/2013 by Gaia from McCarthy, Alaska

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Don't have a rudder system for you Gaia, but do have a skeg system that will work to really improve flatwater tracking. The drop-stitch floor insert is removable. You can glue our Skeg Replacement Plate, Item # 86104.01, to the underside of the insert. Then you can cut a slit in the boat's floor material (stabilize the ends of the slit with a glued patch to prevent it spreading) so you can add one of the SUP Board Fins, # 86101.02. The 9" one would probably be best for you. Drop a line to service@nrsweb.com if you have further questions. Dan Lingo is our Alaska wholesale rep.
