Comments about NRS Easy Access Tackle Bag:

My first season with the Gig-Bob pontoon boat. I purchased this last Christmas for use in Central Colorado reservoirs, primarily, Antero, Spinney Mountain and 11 Mile. (These are fairly good sized lakes, 2500-3500 acres) I added the anchor system,a dozen tie down bungees, two additional tackle bags an anchor bag, and an electric ITT pump for inflation.
I fished the boat over 100 half day trips this past season and my overall reaction is.............there isn't a better boat available, at any price. The Gig-Bob looks as good as the first day I put it in the water. It fits in the back of my Jeep Commander w/o any problem and inflates in four minutes with the ITT pump from your catalog. I "Top Off" with a K-Pump, hand pump to firm it up a bit. Stable, manuverable, solid construction, paddles easily and moves surprisingly well with just the swim fins. I was planning on putting an electric motor on it but have determined it's not necessary as the boat does everything I want it to with just paddles and fins. I am amazed at how comfortable the seating is and how stable the boat is in strong winds. South Park, in Central Colorado, is well known for it's really bad winds.....I have NEVER felt unsafe in the Gig-Bob. The layout allows me to carry my normal compliment of two fly rods and two U/L spin rods with no hassle. I added two extra tackle pouches as I have a tendancy to carry a small tackle shop with me when I fish. Anchoring is a snap with the Scott system and a 10-12# anchor holds the boat in winds up to 25mph or so.
I'm fortunate to live and fish where I do and the 1500+ trout I caught this season is a testament to the boat I was fishing in. I used to fish a float tube and this pontoon is like a Lexus compared to a Yugo when you put it against the float tube.
I know it sounds like I work for NRS, but I DON'T, I've been boating for most of my 66 years and feel I will use my Gig-Bob, for as long as I can fish. It lake fishes, better than any boat I've ever owned or fished on, with a lot less hassle.
NRS has my permission to put you in touch with me if you want to talk about my experience with the Gig-Bob.
