The day after i got my Gigbob oarlocks 2 buddies and myself went on a 10 mile float ant the oarlocks held up great.The costumer service was great super helpful,and the shipping was earlier than they said so good place to do business

I use them with rope wrapped cataract mini mags. not sure
about carlisle oars? there is a seem in the bronze that tears up the rope
wrap pretty fast. that is the only negative , other than that they do the
job.

The Economy Oars have an outside diameter of 1 3/8". They will work with these oarlocks if you're using the Small Molded Oar Sleeves, Item # 14061, on them. And you'll want to use the sleeves to protect the oar shaft.Answered on 2/18/2013 by Clyde from NRSVERIFIED BUYER
