At 240cm this is a big strong paddle that moves a lot of water efficiently. I liked it so much that I bought another one.

I absolutely love the versatility of this paddle. It balances perfect on my lap w/o touching water or waves while ocean fishing and its short enough to be perfect for white water, also.

                            Q:

Why do the blades on this paddle seem to be reversed in shape of one another? (As in upside down) - Forgive my ignorance but other paddles don't seem to have this. Please advise.

They're like spoons to give a better scoop. The paddle has a correct side
                              to be held.

It puts the blade deeper in the water in relation to the shaft.

Yes, you can adjust the angle of the blades. However after 2 seasons there is so much grit in the locking mechanism that I can't get the paddle apart any more.

                              Hi,
Yes you can easily adjust the paddle angle by pressing the spring loaded
detent and rotate the handle to the next pre-drilled hole. I am still very
happy with this paddle and the way it can be stowed in the inflatable kayak
by simply placing one end of the paddle into the bow, where it slips between
the side walls (of the Vee) and the floor, very secure, even in the back of
                              a Thailand taxi truck.
                              Cheers, g.g
