Comments about Bravo High-Pressure 12 Volt Pump:

Speedy way to inflate a NRS GigBob raft. Pressure set-point is great feature. Better hose is needed. Hose kinks even though it is too stiff to easily fit into carry case.

Comments about Bravo High-Pressure 12 Volt Pump:

I bought this pump as an alternative to hand pumping with a NRS Wonder 6 and a K-100. I'm faster and can get to a higher pressure which is key with an inflatable SUP (Big Earl). The pump is super loud and struggles to get to 15 psi. The accessories are poor quality and won't last like the bag that the Bravo comes in - two zippers have already failed after three uses.

                Q:

Honestly, how well does this work for rafts? Do I need to let it cool down between rafts? (We usually inflate 2 rafts and 2 IK's.) Any plans to correct the kinky hose? Our LVM bit the dust, so we need a replacement. Thanks!

We ran a test between this pump and the NRS Blast Pump, inflating a raft chamber. The Bravo took twice as long as the Blast, but the Blast has a max inflation pressure of a bit less than 2 psi. I'm a fan of the Blast.

I only use mine for a 9' inflatable on my sailboat, maybe half dozen
times but so far I've been pleased. Hopefully it will last a few years.

                Q:

Hi I just bought a Mistral M1 12'6 race board. The local dealer does not currently stock the Mistral 12 volt pump (inflatable SUPs are new in Toronto, Canada.) The hand pump works fine but it's time consuming.

Am interested in the Bravo High Pressure 12 Volt Pump and a local NRS dealer said they can order a pump for me.

I just need to know if it will be compatible with the hose attachment for my Mistral. Can you help me?

                Thanks!

If your hose i.d. (inside diameter) is 3/4" then you should be able to swap
fittings no problem with the bravo pump.

With the right valve adapter, this pump will work. Go to - http://www.nrsweb.com/repair/valves.asp?tn=231 - Identify the valve on your SUP and also order the correct adapter.
