It is a great long lasting machine. We have two of them for our rafting company. However, as they age, they have two foam gaskets that will eventually need to be replaced. These gaskets, while not expensive, are a huge pain to install. Rather than unscrewing wire connections, the wires must be cut. They are short and and hard to reach to re-splice as they are located in the funnel shaped housing at the top of the blower.
That being said, when they work (several years before we had problems) they work great!

I use this unit on 2 of Jacks calebras. The regular and the grande. Fast air up and very little pump top off needed. Handheld and easy to use.
It is recommended to use at least a 750w power inverter if using in the field. It will perform find with it. Smaller and you might have trouble.

As a private boater on a very high volume commercial white water river, you need to be able to prep and go in a short time..
Without Standard electrical service it is required to purchase an inverter for the auto battery or a generator..Both mean addtional equipment and cost
