        Comments about Storm Whistle:

        As a professional in life saving Search and Rescue, and hard of hearing from years of sirens, helicopters, and shooting, I can attest that there is no better whistle. It's loud lower tones overcome common hearing problems, and can be heard over loud environments, such as white water. While it is large, the bulk is minimal comared to its effectiveness. I have one on every rescue PFD I own! I recommend it to anyone!

                You can find claims as high as 130 decibels, but the maker claims only 118-120.
