In your boat or scouting a rapid, the NRS Pro Guardian Waist Throw Bag is always there when you need it.
  • Features an internal throw rope in a bag that pulls completely free from the waist belt.

  • Pro model includes 55 feet of extra-strong 1/4" Dyneema® rope, with a maximum tensile strength of 2,608 pounds.

  • The Guardian clips securely around your waist with an adjustable belt and a quick release buckle.

  • Webbing loops along the belt are provided for carabiners.
Rope knots reduce tensile strength. For this reason, we make no claims regarding a rescue bag's strength. Maximum load indicated is for the rope alone.

  • Rope Material:  Dyneema®
  • Rope Diameter:  1/4"
  • Load Max:  2608 lbs.
  • Features:

    • External bag holds internal throw bag
    • Webbing loops for carabineers
  • Weight:  1.35 lbs.

Great product. Strong and well made. My primary use is for rescue in swift water. The throw bag really flies and is nibble. The rope is a great size and easy to handle.

I am whitewater guide and I love this throw bag.`The belt buckle is very secure,so it stays in place all day. I do not have anything but praise for this product. If you're rafting you should have one on your waist.

Comments about NRS Pro Guardian Waist Throw Bag:

Im a river guide/Kayaker of 15 years and find that this is one of the best throw bags Ive used. Its really nice for creeking because you can get out of your boat and scout for wood or scout the next drop and you always have your throw bag on you. For guiding its awesome too because its just one less piece of gear you have to carry around between trips. This is the perfect setup.

I don't know exactly, but it must be around 2lbs. After the first half hour I tend to not even notice it on me.

Longer than 40", but I'm not sure exactly. They seem to give you plenty of extra.

The belt is approximately 52" long. The buckle end is adjustable for a shorter length.
