This particular 3/8" polypropylene rope is only stocked in yellow. It might be possible to custom order another color. Give us a call, 800.635.5202, and we can research it for you.

Rescue Rope 3/8"
Q:
Hi! Just want to confirm that this is a solid braid, and does not have a non-polypropylene core. Also that it floats (I assume it does, but you did not specify). Thanks.

Yes, rope is solid polypropylene including the core. (It melts nicely to prevent unraveling). It does float. I use this rope for painters on my canoes and the canoes that I outfit for others. I build spray covers for canoes and usually include painters (lining ropes) with the packages that I build. It’s a great product and wears very well. Hope this helps. Absolutely the rope does float. in fact all the applications we use it for require floating rope as far as the core is concerned I wouldn't want state what it is I guess the supplier/manufacturer should be asked about that matter. Hope this is somewhat helpful.

I don't have it in front of me, but I believe it is a solid braid and is floating. I used it for painters on my river tripping canoe and have been happy with it.

Yep, it's 100% polypropylene. And it floats. We use it in our rescue throw bags.

Yes it floats. It is of kernmantle contruction and not a solid braid. It has a core (the kern) which is polyproplyene and a sheath of braided polypropylene (the mantle). Sent from my iPad
