Comments about NRS Rescue Board - Closeout:

This product is used on our SAR team. It needs a pump to blow up, but we use rafts and IK's so we always have a pump. It needs to be topped off just like a raft after its put into the water, as it appears full of air on shore but as soon as you put it in the water it loses some of its volume and needs a top off. Cant leave it in the sun topped off, just like a raft. It has alot more flotation than our Carlson RB's which is great for those of us with a little more mass.

Comments about NRS Rescue Board - Closeout:

This river board is great fun on waves.
It is easy to carry, fast to inflate, and all in all a great product. The only problem i had was the top deck got slippery when it got wet. I have the NRS SAS dry suite. Once the top deck got wet I found it increasingly difficult to stay in the sweet spot on the board. Dont get me wrong this thing is so much fun and I will never go with out one again, but it like anything has room for improvement.

      Service and delivery comments:

Thanks NRS for always being there for me.

Mine just arrived. What pumps are best to use to inflate the board?

          A:

Bob, any of the pumps we carry will work. The Wonder Pump 6 and Bravo 2 pumps are good low cost alternatives. And any of the single stage K-Pumps would be fine too. And you might consider getting a pressure gauge. The board should be inflated to about 2.5 psi for best performance.
