I totally recommend these fins for riverboarding over the other styles that NRS sells. Maybe not quite as much thrust output over a few fins, but still good. I bought a small size to try out barefoot or with thin socks. Look forward to ordering some larger sizes to try with a heavier soled neoprene boot.

Used these fins for a riverboarding section on the New River in West Virginia during an adventure race in late September. They worked great, good control through the rapids and good power on the flat section. Comfortable and easy to put on and take off.

I love these fins in whitewater.Size xxl a touch snug over size 13 NRS paddle boots ,but they never fall off .Can go laterally in fast water no problem.

Hi, my name is Will Chambers. I worked for Wild Water Adventures, out of Lake Louie AB, for two summers. We did one staff trip down the Lower Salmon, and stopped by in Moscow to pick up some inflatables. Anyways... I've riverboarded the upper and lower of the Kicking Horse here, and the fins I had both times were not adequate. I'm looking to get some real fins, however I see that you don't have L in stock. Think I'd need L fins to fit over booties.
Any suggestions?

Will, this swim fin model is a closeout, so it's only existing sizes left. The newer model is # 18981, available in two sizes. The larger one should work for you.
