Light and stow-able for camping. Should have a clip to secure it to deck rigging during transport; but you can add your own easily.

This cover works pretty well for short drives or for storage. Doesn't fit very tight around the cockpit though (even though I tightened the bungee cords) and tends to get blown off when driving on the highway (especially when trucks drive by). I always tie it on or else it would be long gone by now.

It was a little too large for the opening of my kayak but I solved the problem by tying another knot in the rope. now it is perfect. very well made and will last many years.

I purchased this cockpit cover to keep out debris and little critters. It is perfect for that, but it seems a little pricey for the material. It is made well and even works with the seat still in the boat. It doesn't appear to be waterproof and even if it were, water pools in the center and would eventually cave it in. This is remedied simply by storing boat propped up on its side to allow water to spill off. The cons are not enough to outweigh the pros. It does the job it was designed to do and that is enough.

It's a cockpit cover, fits nice and tight as expected, using for storage of equipment at home, exactly what I wanted, have not tested waterproofing ability.
