The skirt itself is bomber. Tight, dry and a great fit. Very high quality construction. However, the plastic welded to the grab loop gets in the way. I found my thumb of my right hand catching on it quite a bit. painful and not good. I am trying to figure out how to remove the plastic without damaging the grab loop so it can lay better against the cockpit. It really sucks. However, like I said the skirt itself is very bomber. I am not answering the would I recommend this to a friend because I haven't figured out if I can fix the grab loop problem.

Comments about NRS Drylander Shock Cord Sprayskirt:

The skirt's smaller measurements exactly fit my boat (19 x 34 if I recall correctly) and it fits perfectly. It's easy to attach the boat and makes a good seal as well. The waist size fits perfectly also.
of note, I wasn't expecting it to have a plastic pull cord; I was expecting the typical nylon loop. This isn't a big deal and the platic pull cord has a loop on the end for a caribiner if so desired.
I bought NRS because I wanted quality from a name I can trust and this lives up to their reputation. Price was right as well.

Good fit for waist but not so good on cockpit. Excess material for the large size cockpit which was suppose to fit the dimensions of my Jackson Fun. Excess material allows more in-leakage during bow stalls or play on whitewater.

                          Q:

                          Greetings,
I have a Liquid Logic Remix XP10 and the cockpit dimensions read 28 by 21.5. The cockpit dimensions for the large skirt say it fits to 27.5 leaving my boat .5 inches too big for a large skirt. Will it stretch to fit or is there another option in a whitewater skirt for the XP10?
                          Thanks,
                          Jon B.

This skirt definitely will NOT stretch to fit your boat cockpit.  The skirt runs smaller than the cockpit sizes it is specified to fit.  It cannot even fit the size it's advertized to fit.

I have a dagger kingpin 6.3 and was wondering what size spray skirt to buy? The cockpit is 19in wide and 43 length I believe. Would the medium be too tight?

This is a pretty long and narrow cockpit. I would be inclined to go with a large. I use a large on my NRS Drylander Shock Cord Sprayskirt, and it is 19 1/2” x 34”:

Yes, the medium would be too tight. I bought the medium for my wife's
current designs squall gts, a 16.5 x 34. Never got it on. Exchanged for
the large and have been leaving it on the boat to stretch it and seems good
so we are keeping it. Try the large or maybe a different skirt all
together. If my cockpit was much larger, I am not sure this skirt would
                            work. Very nice skirt though.

The tunnel material is quite stretchy, so even over some insulation the Medium should work fine for you.

                            I am a woman, have a 30 1/2" waist and bought the medium, I believe. I sold
my skirt to a man who had a much bigger waist than I did so I think I would
go with the medium. I sold it because it was a bit too snug on my kayak and
was hard to pull off and get on. He liked the snug fit on his kayak and
waist because he was going to use it for surfing. I was just doing sea
                            calmer sea kayaking.

I have a 36" waist, and use the large. It is tight but comfortable
over a farmer john with a paddle jacket over the sprayskirt. A little
uncomfortable for winter paddling though with heavier top layers under
a dry top. When I paddle with my dry top that has a sprayskirt skirt
that goes over the top of the sprayskirt, I could probably go with an
                            extra large and stay dry.

My waist is a 33" and a large was way too loose.  I do a lot of playboating and actually moved to a small tunnel.   Its takes a little effort to get it on but its comfy, a dry top still fits under it and best of all i stay dry!  Hope this helps!

I have one, and I wish I got a tunnel size smaller than I ordered. The deck fits true; it goes on very tight, but makes a good seal. Large tunnel is going to float on a 32" waist and let a lot of water in. I'm a 36-38 and a large is looser than I prefer

                            Hi Jen
                            Does that mean icebergs?
I love this sprayskirt compared to the other brands I own. It seems to be sturdy with a thick rim.
I am supposed to have a 32 inch waist, but sometimes more like 34...
I use a medium when not wearing layers, but if layering use a large for comfort. I mean base layer, fleece, drytop. Also drypants or fleece pants or both.
Also it depends on how fastidious you are about a bit of water coming in.
                            Hope this helps

I have the nrs drylander .... It goes on any off the boat (stomper 90) very
easily only way it leaks is if u aren't wearing a drysuit cause the water
just runs in the top of the skirt cause there is nothing to shed the water

The Romany LV has a quite small cockpit rim, 28.5” x 14.25”. The Drylander Small deck will probably fit on the boat, however it won't give you the bombproof seal that this skirt gives when more solidly in its size range. We can order you a Snap Dragon skirt specifically tailored to that cockpit. Give us call at 800.635.5202 to order.

                          Hi NRS Staff,
I paddle an Dagger Atom and Cascade C1 and would like to purchase 2 NRS Drylander Shock cord sprayskirts or better with a Large tunnel.
Is this something you could have custom made for me?
                          Thank you!

Sorry, we don't do any custom sprayskirts.

Hi I'm new to paddling and would like to know if this skirt in a Large deck size will fit a Wavesport Fuse 64. The dimensions match up but I've had some issues finding skirts that will fit, I just want to know if anyone else has run this skirt in a Fuse 64 before without problems. Thanks

Sorry George, I don't know. I used it on a Pyranha H2 255. Best advice...go to www.boatertalk.com and ask the question. You will have multiple responses immediately. Good luck.
                            where do you paddle?

                          Q:

                          Aloha!

Can NRS (or another company that you carry) make a custom sized sprayskirt for a kayak that I'm building? I would need a whitewater-style neoprene skirt and the general shape of the skirt would be circular and smaller than a typical skirt. The kayak is a Greenland-style skin-on-frame sea kayak which traditionally has a smaller, circular cockpit opening. In the past Snapdragon has made me a custom skirt, but I couldn't get ahold of them plus I'd prefer an NRS skirt. Thanks for your response!

We will contact Snapdragon for you. Please give us a call, 877.677.4327, with the dimensions and construction details of the skirt.
