I measured the circumference of my head and ordered the large size according to the published size chart, but the helmet feels a bit tight. It seems to be well made.

Finally a helmet that fits. I have a small head and most helmets I've tried might fit front to back, but then wobble side to side. This helmet is a great fit, non-distracting, offering me the protection I need.

Will the fit conform to my head over the course of "break in"? I purchased this helmet and it appears to be the correct size by circumference, but it is tight in certain spots. Jim, you're not going to get much "break in." The foam may compress slightly over time, but you'll be uncomfortable the whole time. And we don't recommend shaving off any foam because that lessens the impact protection. If you don't have the XL you can try exchanging for the larger size.
